I love entertaining, especially when it involves food! It is such a special feeling being able to bring the people I love together over food.
Even more exciting is the fact that for those in the southern hemisphere like me, it’s FINALLY spring! Spring brings with it longer days, more sunshine, blooming plants and flower alongside perfect entertaining weather – not too hot and not too cold. Spring is like the Goldilocks season haha!
For those in the Northern Hemisphere where it’s now Autumn, the same goes – it’s an excellent time to entertain! The only difference is that instead of new leaves emerging, they’re turning red and orange and gently falling to the ground. Autumn too is magical season.
No matter how you like to entertain, whether you’re a fan of a BBQ, a picnic or a brunch, the Keep It Cleaner app has so many delicious and dietitian approved recipes ideal for entertaining. Any time I am hosting an event, it’s always tricky to narrow down exactly what I want to make because I am spoilt for choice by the 700 plus recipes at my finger tips.
I have however (with much difficulty) been able to narrow down my top savoury and sweet entertaining recipes. Anytime I have brought or served one of these dishes to my family and or friends, I’ve been met with such good feedback and requests to share the recipe. Basically, I’ve always had happy campers – which is the nicest feeling.
